Hi--new here. My Sea Scout Ship (part of the Boy Scouts) recently received the donation of a nice 1985 DT 30 (tiller handle) for our 13' Boston Whaler. We found and bought an NA 12 S remote control so the scouts can learn how to shift gears and use a throttle. However, the throttle cable pulls in (moves forward) to accelerate, while the throttle bell-crank on the side of the motor needs to move aft to open the throttle (shifting works fine). What to do? Is this control box not compatible with our motor? Or can something be changed inside the control box or motor throttle control to make it work?
Thanks!
Thanks!
