DF250 Code 5-1

Hello there!
Our engine just returned from the mechanic and now we have the code 5-1. We know what it says (VVT advance STBD) but we have no clue how to solve that. The mechanic is 3 hours of driving (by car) away, so if we can fix it without him would be great. We are a dive center and we need that boat running, every day without means no incomes...

is it pluged in .it right below the valve cover on the right side about 2 1/2 '' round cyl where it plugs in.

Just had the 5-1 code , changed ocv stb on port engine. Took boat for ride and code reset back to ok. Had to run boat over 2500rmp all good now.
