2017 250 Engine Swap

I have recently purchased a pair of 2017 DF250"s that I am swapping out for the pair of 2006 DF225's that I have on the back of my 27 Grady Sailfish. From the research I have done it looks as though all my binnacles, gauges and such from my 2006 engines are compatible with the newer 2017 250's.

Am I correct in thinking this?

Anyone have any first hand knowledge on this?

There are 2 versions of the analogue gauges, and also digital SMIS gauges. You didnt say which ones you have with your 2006’s.

The old 2006 era SMIS digital gauges and associated interfaces etc wont work with 2017 engines, at least not without significant software and cable updating.

The analogue gauges should.
