I replaced the "air restrictor plate" on my DF25A motor, as described in that thread. The motor felt and sounded a little stronger, but the change didn't produce a measurable improvement in speed. (Less than 1 MPH improvement.) After a few months, I put the original part back in the motor just to know I was using the "stock" setup.
