Had a error code 7-5 the control unit comms, fixed it but in its place error code 1-2 appeared the shift position sensor. Had to take it out to clean and clear the gear linkages and I think when put it back in it may be installed incorrectly. I thought it was pretty straight forward but read it may need to be put in a certain way because of the spring loaded sensor. Is this right?? Does anyone know the correct way to install?? Cheers everyone any help appreciated.

Yes it is Suzuki DF175 fly-by-wire.

Not many post on here re fly by wire. Either they rarely screw up or not many fly by wire owners on this forum. Hopefully someone will chime in.Comment

Thanks very much, yes not to many on the flyby wire, There was a post on here before about the shift position sensor https://www.suzukioutboardforum.com/...4-2-error-code , and it reads about how theres a trick to put it in a certain way but not enough detail. If anyone knows if there is a certain way or something I'm not doing right your help would be great
