Last year I got a smoking deal on a new hurricane ss188ob. It was fun all summer but the Yamaha f115 wasn't enough power for me. I just recently fell into a steal a leftover 2014 DF-150TG with the drive by wire controls still brand new with 6 year warranty. I have mounted it on my boat just ordered the hydraulic steering system and the Suzuki diagnostic software so I can initialize and program everything.
My question is can I wire the Faria analog multifunction gauges that were functioning on the Yamaha. It has two 5 inch gauges. The right one is speed which operates off of a water pressure line and trim.
The left gauge has fuel, volts and tach.
How would I hookup the tach, speed and trim on this engine the old Yamaha had a port for the water for the speedo built in.
I really don't want to have to spend money on new gauges if I don't have to.
