Hello

What is the difference between an AVTL1 , AVTL2, AVTL3 I had a 2014 AVTL1 looking at a new DF50AVTL2 and now it is AVTL3 does anyone know what changes have been made ?

is the AVTL3 an improvement over the 2 ?

Is the service manual and basic parts like thermostats, impellers , plugs , zincs the same ?

Captain Mike, I'd recommend shooting and email to Suzuki. As I recall on their website, they have a place where you can ask such questions by contacting their Technical Department.

I would also imagine there is very little change between the 3. I would bet a dollar the manual would not change on any of them. There might be some addendum of one page added showing whatever the change might be. I wouldn't be surprised it has to do with the first year of manufacture, DF50AVT serial numbers L200xxxx through L2001000 and so on for L3, probably and L4 or higher. They find a successful engine and they just don't make large changes, they refine them.
