So in a previous post my oil pump was cracked and needed to be replaced, I got it back from dealer and it ran fine a few times now its throwing codes 2-4
2-5 and 2-6 and the motor is going into SAFE mode. It can then start again and run perfect for anything from a few minutes or an hour and then go off again. It happens as I am accelerating. Theese indicate a problem with one or more of the three cmp sensors. Can anyone elaborate or share their experience with the same problem? Shop is closed until monday.

My neighbor a 30 year Toyota mechanic says its not the sensors. He says they go bad on Toyota all the time but only one at a time. The fact I have all three codes going off he says means something else is wrong.

''''Sounds like a problem in the wiring loom, you would have just had that all a part. The three cam sensors have a common supply and ground, have a look on a block plug where there are about ten grey wires going to it, three of them feed the cam sensors, the plug might not be pushed in properly, you won't have three bad sensors.
