Hypoid or bevel gears

There is someone in hull truth insisting that Suzuki outboards don't have hypoid gears in their lower unit, but Suzuki requires hypoid oil or EP / GL5 oil???
GL-5 oils seems to have additives who can corrode yellow metals and should not be used if this materials are used in the LU.

How are the Suzuki gears inside the lower unit, bevel, hypoid or bevel hypoid and is there use of yellow metal parts?

Lotta idiots on THT. The gears are hypoid. You've got a pinion gear and a ring gear, just like any other hypoid setup.
