  • Twin Suzuki DF250's Ignition Buzzer

So, I have twin 2006 Suzuki DF250's and during the season last year one of the two Ignition buzzers stopped working. The engine itself continues to work without issue and show not lights on the tach. When I turn the key I simply don't get the initial beep but I do when I turn the key on my second engine. My assumption was that the buzzer had simply gone bad so I removed it.

In testing it I simply connected to the battery and the buzzer sounds...I really should have done this or checked the voltage before I removed it...

Anyone have a similar issue or have any suggestions what else it could be?

Is it possible the buzzer is bad even though it works when connected to a battery directly?

    Thanks!!!

I would suspect a bad wire connection in the wiring
If you have the service manual you can follow the wiring schematic
These can be frustrating to run down

My wiring has one end coming off the remote wiring gray wire to the buzzer with a diode then blue wire to a wiring harness then blue/white wire to the ECM
