  • DT225 suzuki gauges with no backlight?

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the 2 stroke Suzuki gauges? Mine do not light up, tried all the switches thinking they were on a switch but no luck, checked all the bulbs and they look ok. My fuel gauge has never worked since I bought the boat, got a new sender thinking it was bad and still doesn't work. The gauge itself works because I grounded the sending wire and it went to full. I pulled them out and they were all daisy chained to one another. I'm really lost on this one so any help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

My guess is that's there's a single fuse or breaker for the gauge lighting, behind the dashboard somewhere. That how mine's set up.
If I remember correctly, gauge lighting is on a purple wire as standard.

The lights on guages usually are all linked to boats navagation/ anchor light switch. Commonly fuses are a culprit, but many boats also have dirty/corroded connections, or bad switches.

The best way to locate is with a 12v trouble light.

      Good luck.
