Ditto, Never buy a motor without buying the service manual for it.

Are you really sore the PTT motor is bad?
We have not seen any comments that I recall where this motor has gone out for just 6 or 7 years of service
What we have do see is wiring problems
If this part is bad others may appreciate what you can tell us about it
