Hi- As per previous post, Im wanting fuel and engine data on the dash for my 2009 DF150-Ive got the correct engine interface cable from the States (Thanks Moonlighter!) and was just about to order a US C10 gauge, but came across The Garmin GMI 20 on Youtube, and they are quite easy to source here in the UK- Anybody know if these are compatible?

Yes they will show the engine data .... BUT they have some significant limitations compared to the C-10:
1. You cannot use them to do the initial network setup that has to be done. VIP.
2. They will not show Suzuki fault codes or service reminders. Important!!
3. That can not calibrate the fuel data if it is inaccurate. Also important.
4. they wont show seasonal or trip fuel, just fuel used since last fill and fuel remaining.
The C-10’s can do all of that.
Another digital gauge choice is a Simrad IS-35. The C-10 is a tweaked version of this gauge. It will do items 1, 3 and 4 from the above list, but not item 2.
If you add a Simrad or Lowrance MFD onto the network, they can also do items 1, 3 and 4. So you could use a GMI in combination with them. But...
...... there is a final downside of using anything Garmin on a Suzuki network.
The Garmin GMI and all their MFD’s have their own separate fuel memory. They do not use the fuel used data from the Suzuki interface, so if you have both Garmin and any of the Suzuki, Lowrance or Simrad displays, you have to separately reset fuel used on Garmins.
Whereas if you had a C-10 or IS-35 along with any NMEA2000 Lowrance or Simrad MFD, they all draw fuel data from the Suzuki interface, so resetting one of them instantly resets them all.
