C10 goes dark after power up

Today, my C10 gauge went blank after power up. The Suzuki logo was displayed and then the screen went blank. Is the gauge unit bad?

Maybe.

Was there no life in it at all? No backlight or anything else?

You can try a gauge reset:

1. Turn Unit off (eg turn engine key off)
2. Press and hold the DOWN button
3. Turn unit on (activate power to NMEA network or connect unit to operating network)
4. Release DOWN Button after Test screen appears.
5. Turn unit off (disconnect power to NMEA 2000 network or remove unit from network)

This reset will wipe out anything you've done to configure your gauge, custom pages, contrast, backlighting, etc. and defaults it all back to the original settings.

Thanks much for the reply. Yes, no life at all after the Suzuki logo display cleared. I will give the gauge reset a try. Noted, too, that my SIMRAD display is also goes blank after powering up
