Hi , the voltage regulator on my DT 100 failed and fried the ecu , I’ve now replaced both and the engine is running fine . Is there a better voltage regulator than the standard one fitted to my engine ? I know on motorcycles the R1 regulator is used on a lot of bikes as an aftermarket fix but didn’t know if there is something similar for outboards .
