What is this adapter for?

Ordered a new oem fuel primer bulb 65770-93J02 and it also included a "freshwater flush fitting", any idea what it is for and how to use it??

Surprised it was sent along with a primer bulb. It might have been a mistake. In any case, it fits onto your flush ports (not sure what motor you're referring to, so can't say where those ports are on your motor) to provide a way to facilitate hooking up a garden hose, so you don't have to twist the whole hose to screw it in.

ordered this one from ebay, but I looked around at other sources and it seems the part number for the primer bulb ships with this adapter normally. '07 DF175

Ok....well, I've got an'07 DF150 so they're the same. Fits left side or front flush port.

I purchased a new outboard a couple of months ago.
That's how they are supplied, primer and fitting in a plastic bag together.
