simultaneous 3-3 error codes on new 175's

new boat, engines with less than 30 hours. last week electronics were installed. drove the boat for a couple of hours the day after completion without incident. went out today, and both motors are showing the 3-3 error code, i did not start the motors once i saw this. did they do something when they installed the electronics? any help/guidance is very appreciated.

3-3 is the neutral switch.

I doubt there is anything really wrong. I would check that the engines are out of gear, take the shifter in and out of gear, and then attempt to start and see what happens. It may just be a minor gear linkages or cables adjustment issue if it happens again. If so have the engine installer look at it and address.

i followed your advice, moved the shifter, lowered the motors back into the water, and low and behold, error code is gone. thanks for your help!
