Suzuki df115 speedometer tube?

Hi

I noticed this tube leading to the lower unit was broken today...is this the speedometer tube? I(Please see linked picture of my 2007 DF 115). If so, do you have any suggestions? I never used the speedometer (never worked anyway) and just use my GPS, thanks!IMG_20200707_162718659~2.jpg
