DF90 - split fuel hose under cowling

Found a split in my hose running from the pump to the vst. It is a shaped hose with a couple hard protectors on it. Wondering if I can use a normal marine fuel hos work if I need to order Suzuki replacement part

It is low pressure Line . It is coming off low pressure pump and feeding the vst. It goes behind the manifold

it is pre-formed and has a Hard line protector on part of it

can you get the new hose in the protectors? can you make any necessary bends without kinking? if so go for it

I was able to split the protector and slip over The new fuel line. New fuel line Is 5/16 Id but has a larger od than original, but appears to be a better quality line. Ran for about an hour last night and so far so good

will most likely go ahead and replace other fuel lines also, as this one looked Pretty bad Inside once I cut it open.
