cleaning df250 vst filter

Does anyone know of a way to clean the screen filter in the df250 vst tank without removing and separating the vst?

Don't think it can be done.

I had issues with my gas tank when I first bought my boat. The VST filter got plugged up, as dI'd the injectors. It sucked small little particles into the fine mesh of filter. Since it sucks there is no way to clean it with out separating the halves of the VST and spraying off the filter with carb cleaner. Sorry....
