Help please. Diagnostic code ??? could not understand.

Hi Guys

Recently after starting outboard in tank, after about 5 minutes running on idle, check engine code lit and started beeping 1 beep every 6 seconds. Switched off engine, restarted and functioned normal no lights no beeps etc. After 1 month restarted again on another battery and after 5 minutes same light and beeps occurred. Switched off engine and after lets say 7 hours re started again on same battery with no beeps lights etc. issue is driving me nuts because i could not understand the issue. Changed the oil and code for oil change is an oil icon in the gauge that illustrates that its time to change oil not the check engine.

New motor - I suggest you stop debating and get it back to your dealer. They will put it onto the SDS system and know immediately what the problem is.

Only 5 months Would be the 20 hour oil change reminder?
Your oil lamp should flash .3 seconds on and .3 seconds off
The buzzer should be giving you a double beep every 5 seconds with the ignition on-after starting the buzzer should stop but the oil lamp continues

So how many hours do you have on the engine now?
Did you change the oil at 20 hours or have someone do it for you?
Reset the oil change reminder ?

The only other 1 - 1 sequence is s rectifier & regulator (over charging) situation.
But cannot tell you the time sequence
