I can only say that…
The SMG4 gauge connects to the main engine gauge harness behind the dash WITH A SPECIAL HARNESS OF ITS OWN.
Most people buy the SMG4 as a kit that comes with the correct harness to suit the engine/s that they have.
There are 2 versions of the SMG4 harness for single engine installations, one is for AP engines (fly by wire) and the other is for engines with the standard mechanical controls (eg cables).

If you cant work it out from there, then there’s nothing more I can do to help, you should then take it to a Suzuki dealer to get it sorted out.
