Situation....Engine is a 2007 on a boat that is a 2011 shallow water bay boat. While running at about 5,400 RPM my engine starting dropping RPMs abruptly. RPMs dropped from 5,400 to about 2,500 instantly over and over like it was running out of gas. Did it multiple times while driving over 4,600 RPM. It never stopped running and when i stayed under about 4,400 RPM it didn't happen. I replaced the fuel/water filter a couple of months ago and dont have any old gas in the tank. I have been having some venting problems that have been cured by loosening the gas tank fill cap. Looking for advice on where to start looking for causes.
