Have a 1998 DT 150 that idles fine when cold but once it warms up the rpm drops to 350 and it dies when put into gear. Cold start and idles at 850-900, but run it for about 10-15 min and it drops the idle down. If I can get it in gear and engage the throttle before it dies it runs great from 950 rpm and up. I did a total rebuild on it this spring and before that the motor would not idle worth a darn cold or warm.any suggestions would be great. I did go in and check the TPS settings. 4.94 V black to Y/G (V1) O/Y - B = 0.592 (V2) 0.830 is the Vt setting, all of these are in spec according to the manual. I am running double oil at this point for a new breakin, have 4.4 hours since the rebuild. Any suggestions? No dealers here that will touch it.
