Gas in the oil?

bought a new df25 last fall. Dealer started it and put it back in the box. Recently got it mounted since I don't have a garage. Pulled the dipstick and its over full and thin. It might be thin because it's break-in oil, but I don't think they drained the gas before they laid it down, making it over full. It doesn't smell like gas though. Could they have over filled it because its break-in oil? Should probably drain it and start over...

Have to burn some oil in the break in process right?

I would change the oil, filter would be ok to leave though.
