2015 Suzuki 115 and Suzuki Multifunction display fuel tank calibration

Hi All,
So......me in my wisdom today was trying to reset the trip meter and fuel usage (liters used) on my Suzuki Multigauge set up...
So for some reason the gauge would not zero out the fuel usage buy simultaneously pressing the arrow up and arrow down keys, so I went into the initial set up screen and revised the fuel tank setting and deleted the settings! Dumb Ass!!!!!!!!!!! So now I have NO fuel gauge!!!!(THE GAUGE IS THERE BUT SHOWS NO FUEL LEVEL!!) I tried re calibrating but wasn't able to. I was able to put in the tank capacity at full, but then it asked to set the level at empty and then at 1/4 full??????...I read in the manual that the fuel tank calibration for the gauge is done on the initial start up of the the engine.....can anyone tell me how to re calibrate this or do I have to take it to my dealer to reset it?

Which country are you located in? Different countries use different digital displays.

If you are outside the US, call your dealer and have them walk you thru the process to set the tank size again.

I am in Australia mate.....I'll drop in there tomorrow to see if they can sort it!!!

Yes, best idea.

You may not be aware but the new Suzuki colour engine data display you have is not available in the US so no-one there knows anything about them.

Plus they are quite new here in Aus, so not many people familiar with them here outside dealers.

You could do us all a favour and take notes on how it is done and report back here!

Hi Guys,,,, So I took it back to my local Suzuki dealer and they were able to re-calibrate the gauge pretty easily...turns out you only need to press 1 of the arrow keys to zero out the trip meter and fuel usage for each trip, even though the manual says press up and down buttons simultaneously...so problem solved.....although now I seem to have a fuel flow problem!!!!!
