Valve lash

I have a 2017 DF20A according to the user manual the valve lash is supposed to be checked every 200 hours. Does anybody really do this? I have been relying on the dealer to do service work as far as I can tell he is not doing it or at least he has been charging me for any gaskets.

Some don't. I do. You should.

Its not every 200 hours, its after the first 200 hrs. Then next check is much later.

And yes, you should check. Probably it will be fine, most are but if its not, then correcting it will save big problems later.
