To answer your question, basically yes, and maybe no?
If you are talking about the throttle and shift cable yes, they should be the same (with exception of the "fly-by-wire" model).
However, the electrical part of the remote control may be very different between the models, especially if a side mount model with an ignition switch, and trim/tilt on handle, with kill switch?
Also, if you are including the wire harness when you mention cable, there could be considerable differences in wires, guages, connectors between different models.
