  • DF30A flashing a 3-2 fault code.

I have a brand new DF30A with less than 10 hours. It lost RPMs and would only idle. I limped back home. Now It will start and idle for a few seconds then it stumbles and quits. It flashed a 3-2 fault code a couple of times but not consistently. I've ordered a manual but haven't received it yet. I put in a new spin on fuel water separator and ran it from a alternate fuel source and got the same results. Any ideas as to what the problem might be.

3-2 code is the MAP sensor. Could have failed, or have a clogged pressure sensing passage. In any case, with problems on such a new engine, my recommendation would be to let the dealer handle it under warranty.

I agree with Harper. Let the dealer handle it under warranty.

At the very least, a phone call to your selling dealer to seek their support and advice is required.
