Suzuki AP models setup?

Hi,
I have heard rumours that the AP models like DF150APL need to be setup via computer before it will be able to start the very first time? Is that true? I have SDS V.8.30 can I use that to set it up? What do I need to do in the software? Reason I ask is because I can get this engine for a very fair price abroad.

Found out myself. It is the remote control that needs to be calibrated through the SDS v.8.30.
