It ran for ten hours, then stopped for some time, and then wouldn't run over 1500 rpms. Could something be stuck in the flow switch?

I'll look at your parts pages to see what else might cause limit to kick in. Ok, in parts page it shows a throttle switch (look in the service manual on testing and check.) It also shows a throttle sensor (the service manual may tell you how to test this?) Either of these may limit your motor to 1500 rpms. The fuel pump/ system might limit you also, but I think you would have surging up and down if this were a problem.

Check these things and let us know.

Post back when able to let us know.

Well this is strange there is no THROTTLE SWITCH SET ( and no CAM for the Throttle switch) just the THROTTLE VALVE SENSOR So the testing I did will need to be redone as I need to have power to the system.

I see in the 1989 version of the*outboard it does not have THROTTLE SWITCH SET only the THROTTLE VALVE SENSOR. *Any ideas?

          Fixet the WOT

Found the problem it was a combinations of Fuel bulb, and spark plug cap. One question about the Spark plug cap. there are two parts: 33510-95520 and 33510-97313. What is the difference and are these the best options? From what I can tell the 33510-95520 you have to push the wire through the coil wire is that a good idea?

Can't tell you the difference in the caps? You do have to use the 2 seals on the caps, if your old ones are in good shape use them. If torn, or dry-rotted replace them.

could ask the parts place what's the difference in the caps (one may screw on to coil wire, the other you said push wire through coil wire.). Might be the difference? Not sure which is better.

Good luck, post back when able to let us know how it's going.
