2016 Df140 - Installing C10 interface cable

Just got my C10 color gauge kit in. It has the users manual and the gauge installation instructions. However, it does not have the interface cable, or power cable instructions. On this motor do theses cable connect directly to the engine harness cable in the console where the tach /monitor connects.

Just letting you know, I figured it out. You do plug into the 4 pin connector to the tach /monitor into the color gauge. Also, after studying the Wiring diagram in the service manual; ( With a large magnifying glass /It also most microfiche size ) I found that you have to disconnect the connector next to the sds connector, which is the tach /monitor wires going to the engine harness and connect the sds connector to that. Then put the tach /monitor wire connector into the protective cap for the previous sds connector.

Thanks for taking the time to post what you learned. I looked at your first post and having no experience with the new monitor, passed on trying to address it. Newer engines and newer equipment are coming online and it's always good to share the information.
