If under warranty, I wouldn't mess with it. Take it back, let them assume responsibility for problem, and any damages caused by improper install.

    Good luck.

I second the idea of using the warranty.....no sense in messing with such a nebulous problem. Make them make it right.

Warranty is good, but them Dealers are hard to work with. If I can fix something myself for under 100.00 I do it and pay out of my pocket.

Do all 3 switches work with the key off? First I would try Deleting the max tilt code from the computer. The book tells how to do it and set it back. Then try disconnecting the Battery and hooking back up. Just a thought Good Luck.

Cannot guarantee my first thought, but it could be a BAD ground wire or the motor not grounded back to the battery. One thing I know is the stranger the problem, the more it could be a bad ground.

Just had the same issue on a boat at my shop, luckily were good friends with the Suzuki dealer owner, found its a bad harness from NEMA connector to Suzuki Display to harness. Replaced the harness and everything worked fine
