My boat has analog gauges and all work as they should, except the fuel gauge. It always reads full. I cleaned and tightened the connections on the gauge itself. From past experience with automobiles, I either have a faulty sending unit or bad ground. The problem is I don't know where the sending unit is. The access ports are small and I have been unable to find it. I know it has to be somewhere near the fuel tank but cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated.
