2008 Suzuki 175 - Trim/Tilt removal tips?

I've got twin 2008 Suzuki 175s that both have leaking trim seals. The previous owner had just recently replaced the trim cylinder heads, but they are leaking again. My thought was to remove each unit and reseal them a kit from 5 Star, but after trying to research how to remove the units online it appears it's not a easy as most other outboards. With a little more searching I ran across the thread below.... is this something others have done? Drill a hole? Is there any other way besides removing the engine or one of the clamp brackets?

best thing is to do is get the Suzuki Service Manual
It will tell you step by step the process
and it has a lot of other very useful information you need to know
