It's been years (decades) since I ran/rigged an outboard and need some help in engine rigging. Purchased a used 2003 with no harness or cables. I'm willing to bite the bullet and spend what I need to for new binnacle, harness and throttle/shift cables. Don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish as they say. I was floored when I when quoted $145 bucks for battery cables. It looks like I can e-bay a set for around $40 bucks for a different model Suzuki. My question is - Do I need to worry about being model specific or will cables from a 150 & up work on the engine I have.
