A little background.. Repowered in July with the DF300 (love the engine!) and had two of the new C10 gauges installed. As I was customizing the displays I found where you could have the gauge display the gear the motor is in.. either Forward, Reverse or Neutral. Since it's fly by wire is helps since visually the throttle arm does not look much differnt in Fwd or Rev optically.
Problem: When my 20 hr service alarm went off my gauges loss all the data, somehow the data source setting changed. Dealer fixed it during my 20hr service but now I cannot get that (F,R,N) to display again. I have selected both "Status" and "Discrete Status" under the transmission option but it has no effect and just displays blanks in the box.
Is there a trick to get the gear indication back or a setting I am not aware of?
