Converting from remote steering to tiller

I have a df25 (2003/2004) that has remote steering & I'm curious about the possibility of converting it to tiller steer. Is it possible? Practical? An unusual question, I'm sure. All input appreciated.

on reviewing the parts page for a 2003 there is listed a tiller handle and parts
so it appears you could do this
if you are really serious try finding a repair shop that may have some old engines laying around that could be parted out

There's a tiller assy for sale currently on Ebay. I believe it's NOS. Seems pricey, but maybe a good deal? Don't know.
