Need Help. I have a 2003 90 Hp Suzuki 4 stroke. Motor has served well until now. Made it back the other day on just two cylinders 1 & 4. Found that there is no spark from the coil for cyl 2 & 3. Replaced that coil but to no avail it didn't fix the problem. Unhooked the connector going to the coil 1 & 4 checked the voltage going to grey wire to ground 12.6 vdc. Checked for voltage on the orange wire to ground going back to the ECM unit transistor for the coil that does work properly no voltage. Unhooked the connector from coil 2 & 3 the grey wire had 12.5 vdc to ground. Blue wire going back to the ECM transistor from the coil that doesn't fire and have approximately 8.5 vdc. to ground. Does this indicate a faulty transistor in my ECM module? It appears the transistor for cylinders 2 & 3 may not be firing. Don't want to change the ECM if not needed don't know what else could be causing the coil for 2 & 3 to fail. Any suggestions are appreciated.

There should be no voltage on that blue wire which goes to pin 43 with the plug disconnected, it goes to ground when the driver switches to ground turning the coil on from information off the crank sensor. It looks like it is shorted to battery positive. Take the ecu to an automotive computer repairer, and get if fixed for a faction of the price of a new one. I wouldn't think there would be a problem in the wiring.
