1999 Suzuki 70 hp

I'm looking at a boat that has a 1999 Suzuki 70 horsepower outboard. It is either the DF70THLX or DF70TLX.

The NADA website puts it around $1500 average retail for both. Is this accurate? What might I expect the value to be if the motor is in excellent running condition with zero problems?

Tough question, 20 year old motor. A friend of mine’s hobby is fixing old outboard motors. We have had many discussions over a few pops about his hobby, his biggest challenge is finding parts, especially electrical components. My suggestion to you is get it as cheap as you can, should you need to purchase parts down the road you may have issues.
