Engine Oil plug seal / gasket?

So as usual I was in a hurry while doing the motor maintenance and realized that when I replaced the oil Plug, I put the new seal / gasket over top of the old one. So now the plug has 2 oil seals on it. The good thing is that the new seal was toward the motor so Im hoping it will be fine. Does anyone foresee any issues leaving it like this until the next oil change. Plug tightened up nicely.

Yes, I see issues. I would strongly suggest you take the old gasket off and only have the new gasket on the drain plug. Get a clean pail to catch the oil and someone to assist you. The assistant will use his/her thumb to plug the drain hole while you fix the gasket on the drain plug. IMHO it’s not worth the risk of destroying an engine over a 5 minute fix.
