Looking for input on what could be causing this corrosion. A year ago when I inspected the spark plugs I noticed some corrosion on the #3 hole spark plug outer casing. In the hole and around the electrode is clean it is just on the outer case of the spark plug do I see corrosion. Changed oil and that looked fine and compression test was good and all 6 holes were nearly identical.
This last weekend I did another inspection and again this plug had some corrosion while the 5 other plugs were fine. I also noticed a little bit of rust staining down the tube and on the outside of the coil tube. Any thoughts on where the moisture could be coming from for this to be happening?
