  • More NMEA 2000 gauge problems C10

So I got my twin 2016 140As installed, and hooked up to the 2 C10 gauges. Input all data--port#1, Stb #2, fuel tank capacity, etc. Network is working. Have 1 power cable in network hooked up to key on ign on port motor. Have all t's and terminators in place. 1 fuel sensor input. Problem is I can only get 1 engine to display on either gauge in any page. That is, in the split screen or any screen I can only 1 engines data. Only the port side of the screen shows data, the other side shows background but no data. If I switch engine data harness behind the gauges from port to starboard, Then the new engine shows data, but still only on one side of the screen. I also tried switching the engine power wire that powers the gauge on. Hopefully an easy cure, any suggestions?

I suggest you take it right back to the dealer who installed it all and get them to sort it out. Something bizarre is happening there. Impossible to say what without being able to sit down and check it all.

There have been some reported issues with the C10 software not playing nicely with the latest engines, so that could be in the mix as well.

All the more reason to take it back to the dealer and have them address the issues for you.

Or, at least, call them and have them walk you thru the setup and configuration process over the phone while youre in front of the screens to do what they say.
