Issue with 2007 df300s

Just got a new boat and had the engines gone thru before it was shipped to the great lakes. The port engine is perfect, but the starboard is blowing the exhaust thru the propeller area instead of the exhaust port. Any ideas?

Most likely the small plastic restrictor is missing on the port engine, it's a $3 part.

Thanks, where would this restrictor screw go? Thanks, first pair of outboards here.

Kind of disappointed I had them gone thru. I don't believe they were doing that before the service.

The restrictor should be next to the tell tale stream of water on the back of the engine just below of the removable engine cover. Look at the starboard engine and you will see what is missing.
