Suzuki multi function gauges on a DF300 AP from 2012

Hello there.
I have a DF 300AP from 2012 with serial no 30002P-210010.
I have purchased two multi function gauges (34200-96L00) but now i am suspecting there it will be problems connecting them since the engine is old.
Have I done a mistake or its it possible to connect the cauges?

These gauges officially work with engines from 2015 MY and newer.

I understand that they do work with some AP series engines from a year or two earlier. But doubtful for a 2012 engine.

I suspect that you have made a mistake. You could try to connect them and see what happens. Up to you. You could ask Suzuki in your country and see what they say.
