Prop differences ?

I notice in the official Suzuki prop catalogue two diameter versions for the 17" and 19" pitch aluminium props (also for other models btw) >>


3 x 14 x 17 -vs- 3 x 13.75 x 17

3 x 14 x 19 -vs- 3 x 13.75 x 19

Would like to understand why Suzuki has these versions (1/4" difference!) exist, anyone ??

Not an expert but I dont think 1/4" will make a difference. Thats only 1/8" per blade.

Indeed, doesn't make much sense, so why is it in the catalogue....

I wonder if it’s a imperial to metric conversion thing?

Reason: To provide choices.

Blade shape, area and rake may also be different.

The stated number of blades, diameter and pitch do not necessarily tell the whole story.
