Suzuki 60 add on tiller

I added a tiller handle( the one with tach, shifter, warning lights) to a Suzuki 60 hp 2017 ob. My problem is the red warning light stays on( No flashing or beeping) when the engine is on--- Even when not running but just with the key to "on". Short ?? Anyone have an idea on this ?
