I own a 33ft Grady White 330 Express
Twin 2017 Suzuki DF 300APXW Outboards
only 90 hrs or less
I have had to utilize warranty work 2x’s now in Puerto Rico
Both Times here is what occurs
Located problem and bad mfg part failures
Delver bad parts to Suzuki Dealer
told both times repairs are covered for each breakdown
Dealer states they must get approved for replacement parts from Suzuki Warranty Program before Dealer can order parts
As No Dealer in PR just carries spares unless it’s a extremely common problem
ok - do what you need to do to get me back out on water
2 weeks later Dealer claims still to be awaiting Warranty replacement part approved
week 3 Finaly approved to replace parts - but now fewer has to order them - another 2 weeks to get parts from Mainland
While awaiting for suzuki warranty approvals for parts
Dealer advises they only supply parts to Suzuki approved mechanics- ok -
they provide me the mechanics contact information
contact me mechanic - He has to await approval to place warranties parts on motors
as dealers for suzuki handles only parts and new sales
mechanics only handle mechanics and once approved ppreform warranty work
I’ll be darn if now I’m having the same slow 2-6 week process
what can I do ?? I contacted Suzuki headquarters- Alfonso states nothing corp suzuki can do or talk to about his recurring apapproval process
I’ve had it to my neck with this crap
