My motor has started sending a 2-2 check engine code that is CTP Switch. It is somewhat intermittent, at low idle in gear it stops, but at around 1500-2000 RPM's it starts the check engine beep and light code on the tach and stops again at higher RPM's. I checked continuity of the switch with the motor off and it seemed ok, but when I checked the voltage with the key on I'm getting 10.7 volts at the CTP switch though the manual says it should be aprox. 5 volts. The open/closed positioning of the switch with the throttle seems correct though. Also other than the intermittent alarm, the motor seems to be running fine. The only other thing the manual says is an ECM failure, but would rather not have to, considering the motor runs fine. Is there anything else that could be causing over-voltage at the CTP switch?
