Hello,
I'm ne to this forum. I have an older Suzuki 9.9outboard (dt9.9c) that a local marine mechanic told me that I needed to scrap. He said that water for into the cylinder h and rusted the piston. He told me to scrap it but them trip to sell me a new motor through him so I'm not sure I I can believe him. I took the motor home and took the cylinder head off. After spraying some wd40 into the heads and removing the flywheel assembly I can see that there is at least a little movement in the cylinders. I can't pull the cord though. Any thoughts or suggestions?
